The Silent Type:

Silent types are those who refuse to say a word. Dealing with such a customer is often monotonous & fearsome as you don’t know what is going on in his mind. There are two ways to deal with such customer.

First, the customer might be timid and hesitating then take the silence as the consent and sales talk should be in such a way to exploit the customer to the advantage. Secondly, it might possible that customer using the silence as a defense, then a persistent friendliness from the salesman’s part would bring good results.

The Talkative Type:

He should be permitted to talk for sometime and then with conversation should be tactfully capped between the logical pause by bringing him around to the goods offered.

The Argumentative Type:

Patience and restraint in dealing with this type will pay good results. Never argue & lose temper but persuade.
